Helbi sets a plan in his mind as he creeps up slowly behind his target. To properly set the scene, he’d have to do a few things very carefully.
First, the motivation. This man made a living from stealing, so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume a victim would want some of their wage back. They’d also made those factories a regular target, so they’ve probably had a few regular victims as well. Revenge and recovery, it should work.
Second, the method. It would have to be unprofessional, not a clean, passionless kill. His shots would have to be aimed at center mass, so that no one could miss. They would have to be shots, plural, too, a singular kill shot would ruin the illusion. Any bullet casings would need to be kicked under a couch or a fridge, easy enough to find but not gone completely or left in the open.
Lastly, the escape. He can’t mask the sound of the gunshots, so he’ll have to be quick in ransacking the apartment for a wallet or stash of credits, which he’ll be stealing to stay in line with a possible motivation. After that, the fire escape is a perfect exit route. From there, he can hopefully disappear into the shadowy lit streets of Ash City.
Of course, it’s a plan until something goes wrong. So, with all that in mind, he stands behind his target, weapon in hand, for about a minute. Center mass, several follow up shots, then he’ll move on from there.
